The Knockroon Masterplan forms part of a wider regeneration initiative of four neighbouring towns and Dumfries House Estate.
The Knockroon Masterplan for a 770 homes mixed use development was granted outline planning. The Studio LK team, whilst with The Prince’s Foundation, developed the masterplan, design code, and architecture of Phase 1 and the wider design.
Phase 1 of this masterplan comprises 72 houses, 15 flats and four commercial units, including a convenience store and 12 workshops and associated infrastructure. The architecture and urban design takes precedent from the local vernacular.
