Studio LK has been instructed by the South Downs National Park (SDNP) Authority to undertake an urban and architectural characterisation study for 20 towns within the SDNP.
The purpose of the document is to help supplement other SDNP Local Authority planning documents and to provide designers and developers with key design criteria, based upon the local architectural and urban typologies found within each of the towns.
The aim is for designers to use this information to support their design proposals, which are submitted as planning applications.
