Studio LK has been instructed by land owner of this 7.3 ha site at Rackheath, Norwich to prepare a masterplan for a development proposal comprising a mix of market and affordable housing.
Areas of proposed green open space have been designed to incorporate large SUDs areas to mitigate existing drainage issues, turning a threat into a design opportunity.
Existing trees have also been retained and help to form an established character to the landscaping and open spaces.
The development proposal comprises 157 dwellings in the form of terraces, semi-detached and detached houses.
